Sincere question because I don't keep up with every detail or player from opposing teams. If you have a phenom on the roster why hasn't Richt announced him as the starter, or is the phenom just entering as a freshman?

He's actually slated to play a fair amount at DB this year. Had at least one pick I can recall last year.
But I'm sure blowing out his ACL in the Shrine Game had nothing to do with the relatively slow development; he's just a bust that Carolina knew better than to want.
