LSU and Arkansas, two power running teams, had no problem with the light defensive line of Ole Miss. Alabama shouldn't have...but for reasons already indicated, they did.

I would expect them to line up and smash Ole Miss this weekend and control the ball. Also, it's going to be fun to watch "swag" on the road against a college team with a pulse.

I think Alabama "rolls".

Alabama would have still been leading at halftime, regardless of that whole fiasco.

Unless you're an Ole Miss fan, then it means everything.

It's precious seeing all the LSU fans pulling for Alabama for the first time since at least the great 21-0 butthurt

Means a lot fellas

Is that not the strategy Arkansas used last year?

Yes. Two of the better running backs in the SEC, and the biggest OL in all of football, and they managed less than 160 yards rushing on 50 attempts. Arky's offense scored 23 on our D mainly because our offense gave them possession about a half dozen times at midfield or worse. A pick 6 in the endzone; a fumble on our own goal line, etc.

You racked up some yards, but not many points. I think you had something like 400 yards of total offense, 95 of which came on your last scoring drive late in the 4th, with several of our starters on the bench. No excuses, you won a hard fought game. If 10 points and barely 400 yards of total offense meets your definition of a ramming, good for you.

If you're referring to Drake's broken leg in that game, that's pretty shitty. Didn't Ole Miss have a player go out with a broken leg later that year?

Arkansas averaged 3.2 ypc. That's not good, that's bad. Real bad when you consider how much Ark offense was on the field due to OM turnovers.

A great flashback to the golden age of Mike Shula!

I did. He wasn't making fun of injured players.
