If Clemson can get in a rhythm on offense where Watson feels comfortable, watch out. He is mobile enough to evade 300 pound DT's and pick up 5-7 yard runs when things break down. He gets the ball out quickly as well. And Clemson's defense is pretty damn good too. Clemson is an overall very good team that can do a variety of things on offense depending on what the opponent dictates. I think Clemson has a very legit shot.

It's not like Bama has completely solved its mobile QB/fast paced offense problems. We just have not played any good ones this year besides Ole Miss.

I don't think MSU d line is better than Clemson's. MSU dline was very good and extremely physical in the semi finals, particularly in the first half. They looked zapped after the half. Clemson moves laterally across the field much more effectively and that could take away some of the pitch and catch Coker has going on against MSU. Clemson's dline is more suited to stopping Bama than MSU was.

I could be wrong. We shall see I suppose.

This game scares me. A lot.

Mobile qb? Check. Maybe better than Johnny football. Not as good as Cam.

Good defense? Check. I think as good or better than OSU last year.

Motivated team and coach? Double check.

If we go in to this game like OSU last year or AtM in 12 Clemson will escape with the win. But if we come at it with the business mindset of the cotton bowl I think we win by 2 scores and they both come in the 4th quarter for margin of victory.

Styles make fights and Clemson will have a much better chance than Michigan state just because of their style of play

I think it will be a close game but Bama will win. Clemson's defense is pretty good and Bama's offense isn't very creative

Dak Prescott is better than Watson. Throws the ball way better. Watson has a little more talent around him this season

Clemson fits the mold of teams that give Saban trouble.

Close game. Could go either way.

Are you fricking serious? The best defense he faced all season was FSU's and they got blasted by Coug High

The same good defense that gave up 30+ points to USCe and N.C. State? Do you not remember Syracuse giving them hell?

GTFO, Bama has faced far better defenses and qbs than Watson

I think Clemson will give Bama fits because of their QB. He can run and throw well out of the pocket. MSU QB would not leave the pocket and Bama only had to rush 4 most of the night. Clemson needs to look at the AU-UA game in 2010, that will be Bama's game plan against CU.

Unless Alabama has 4+ turnovers, they will win by double digits. Clemson will put up a fight due to a talented dual threat QB, but Alabama just has far too much talent. Clemson is a quality team, probably good enough to finish 2nd in the SEC Western Division.

Best players = best team

Usually.

Clemson has a chance, but only if Alabama's execution is not up to standard.

This. If Coker is not able to make the weak side of Clemmons DB pay, its going to be a tough row.

Why do you guys talk out of your arse? STOP!

LINK

MSU DL is much better.
