I actually think their offensive philosophy is one that could and has given Bama trouble. A team that is committed to continue running the ball regardless if they are only getting 2 ypc to keep Bama honest.

I can’t think of a single team that has given us problems with this, aside from the ones with highly athletic, running QBs who incorporate those QB runs into their game plan. Certainly nobody just handing the ball off to a RB.

ETA: literally can’t think of a single team that has beaten us like this over the last 10 seasons, unless you count the ‘11 LSU game in which they totaled 237 yards.

I doubt it. Oklahoma woke up Ohio State. They are inferno hot right now.

It seems like Penn State is actually getting overrated a bit here. McSorley is good, not great and they are not that balanced of an offense, leaning heavily on Barkley in both the run and pass. They're very good, but beatable and for a while at least Michigan might stymie them with their defense. Michigan's problem is they are absolutely TERRIBLE offensively and that likely will lead to them losing by 10+ in the end.

As I posted, PSU fans literally started the "we want Bama" chant on gameday.

Did they literarlly? I mean I can't believe they literally believe in their team so literally.

PSU would skull drag LSU and Auburn.

No one is beating Bama this year. I have not watched enough of Georgia this year to judge.

Ps in 2010 PSU vs LSU i was wearing my Purple and gold in the stands and when they both play at the same time I watch LSU and record PSU.

Yeah, I think you’re analysis is pretty spot on. This will be really their first test. I might be a little higher on LSU and Auburn based on current roster talent. For PSU there is just so much risk in having one guy account for that much offense. They could be in for some kind of ugly 14-9 type of game tonight.

Penn State has a few really good receivers and a TE that will be drafted in the first 2 rounds.

Its not just Barkley

Fair enough. They just don’t get used as much.

You sir are correct. They are hyping Barkley as a Heisman Candidate so no one else is getting a push in the media. Preseason they werent sure if McSorley was gonna breakout and them have a QB and runningback push like they had with Collins and Carter when they joined the Big 10.

Their recievers are good and McSorley can run.

I doubt they can compete well with bama.

Ive said for weeks that it will be TCU vs Bama in the championship.
