Smacked a cheerleader in Rupp Arena? Snatched the ball from Stallings at Vandy?

Your personal attacks are cute though. I guess that's what you have to resort to when your working knowledge of college basketball is that hand-checking is thuggery and Anthony Davis won't be the best big man in the SEC (or country). Might want to head back out to the tennis courts again sweetheart.

Have you found a pick of the thug pushing Scottie's head down forcefully? I missed that.

Arky does play a touch over the line with regard to physicality. However, I wish our guys would give it right back sometimes.

Billy would never condone that though.

She gets super defensive over some comments in jest, takes them personally, and starts throwing out personal attacks.

Haters gonna hate I suppose.

Um, didn't Stallings grab the ball and try to play keep away slowing down the game?

Stallings can be a thug too.

I love me some Jo. Your words don't hurt.

I'm going to call double technicals if you "ladies" don't slow your roll.

Didn't know Jo smacked a cheerleader in the arse. Bet she liked it. Is there a gif of that?

Anderson's subscribes to the theory of slapping and hand checking constantly. They like to go 12 deep and take all fouls. It is thuggery.

Are you actually being serious with this? Really? Really?

I can agree with you on this wholeheartedly.

I'm not going to lie though, I would probably lose my shite as a SEC coach dealing with our conference's officials. They're awful.

I still want answers. Hand checking counts as Thug POS behavior now? Keep in mind who your coach learned from before you answer.

How much more watchable would the NBA be if 70% of the players played as hard and with as much passion as Big Joakim?

I know he ain't purty but he's awesome.

I can enjoy watching him play now that he's no longer at Florida FWIW.

In a mini-hijack, I enjoyed the same watching Horford play with the Dominican National Team when they played some exhibtions up here. If I had to pick a "favorite" from that bunch though it'd be Corey Brewer. I always liked that kid's motor.

He's definitely one of those guys you hate if he wasn't on your team. Far from a thug though. Just goofy and carefree.

I can meet you halfway on that.

As far as the OP, Anderson may be an asshat but SEC officials have done a poor job all season of controlling physical games. When you have guys getting punched in the back, Vandy players getting ejected, and the whole nine yards it's not going to be pretty. I think I've seen more of that this season then I have in seasons past. And it facilitates some shitty responses from coaches and players as a result.

Agreed. There's not a lot of consistency, and refs seem to let the players (and crowd!) decide early how physical the game is instead of being in lockstep at the beginning. I feel like it's a training thing. Scoring has been way down, and I figure that this is a big reason why.

Of course, there won't be any reason to implement good training unless revenues fall, and usually ratings follow scoring, so we'll see what happens.

I didnt watch the game so maybe people know for sure he flipped someone off but there really isnt any evidence by that picture. He easily could have just been using his fingers to wave his team over to him.
