The USC baseball team posted a deficit of a couple hundred thousand dollars when we won the first national title, so I'm not sure any of them are profitable.

State sells over 6,500 season tickets every year and draws over 10K for big weekend series.
Damn dude, chill out. The OP is obviously just asking a damn question because he's curious about the subject and does not know the answer. Why not just provide the numbers for State if you know them

the gold standard in college baseball is Louisiana State University (LSU), which has yielded an estimated $2 million profit in some seasons. LSU's success has encouraged other college teams around the country to invest in their programs, often improving their facilities and providing a better fan experience.

Kinda. I don't think a higher profile would have gotten us more money. Its not like we were Stony Brook

Looking around I found that ole miss lost about 400k in 2010.
LINK
State looked like they broke even on 2 mil in revenue in 2012. (Hard to believe that)
LINK
Arkansas Wiki page states only Ark, Ole miss and State turn a profit every year.
Mizzou, UGA, Alabama, and Auburn all for sure operate at losses. Alabama actually only has one profitable sport, football.

Also I did see LSU had revenues of 9 million so they should be profitable. Accounting goes a long way in showing teams having no profits. I remember a couple years ago Ole Miss on an income sheet showed they broke even overall in athletics but that was just caused they paid off some debt.
Generally speaking the deeper in the CWS you go the less likely you are to show a profit.

Obviously the one I saw as a bit old but yes LSU is king of college baseball revenue. Texas makes $1 million plus as well.
Vandy appears to as well post $200k in profits last year as well.
Here is a link for revenues. Again accounting is at serious work with these numbers.

There wasn't any need for it. There's no doubt that LSU is the gold standard of college baseball.

While we're on the subject of profitability...how many suites are in the other stadiums besides Alex Box (27)? Because that's usually a pretty good indicator.
