This won't sit well with LSU fans.

Look, if it is declared that SEC refs are bias towards Bama on this forum, then it is true.

Yes. He said it's unfair for LSU to always get extra SEC home games.

Psssh, like all amateur "Cheating Refs" analysis, he forgot to review for the specific times of the game that refs cheat for Bammer and then cover it up with non-calls in other parts of the game.

Only a savvy return of ref watching knows exactly where and when to look. This guy has no clue.

Rogers Redding, national coordinator for NCAA football officiating, says referees are human but unfailingly scrupulous. “I can unequivocally say that I have never seen any sign of bias on the part of officials at any level,” says Redding, who officiated NCAA football for 18 years.

While admitting “my bias is to be defensive about this,” Redding faults Brymer’s research for failing to account for whether the fouls analyzed were correctly called. “Some teams are just better” at avoiding penalties, he says. The study also doesn’t establish a baseline from which to judge variations in calls, Redding says. “What’s the expectation of the number of fouls that would be called in the absence of bias? We don’t know.”
Flawed study showed "protected flagship" teams are a whopping 10% less likely to be penalized. Is it inconceivable that these very talented, well-coached teams could actually be better at not committing penalties?

So SEC refs are biased. We already knew that.

No one here claimed to care that other conference refs have even greater biases.

Too bad Saban doesn't feel that way. When Bama is up by 3 touchdowns is there even a reason to keep his first teamers in there? I mean everybody knows the game is over at that point. Let the crying begin. LOL
