LSU has soft defense and an inconsistent defense..
Ark proved that. you get beat like that at home by Arkansas, your team is medicore.

reality is, Bama is benefiting from beating historically good programs who aren't that good this year. it is empty calories, it is a mirage

i thought they looked pretty good.
Won by 13-17 points despite 3 turnovers, two on our side of the field. Syracuse only had 1 impressive drive, and their QB ran the option well and he's quick.
Watson had big numbers.
our no. 1 RB, the Wayne Train, got hurt late in the game and the backup RB got stuffed on a 4th and short. witht he Wayne Train we get that.

no, Clemon hit a FG to go up 13, but CUse was offsides so we got a 1st down. Then CLem just went into victory formation, could have tried to score a TD.
we had like a 6 minute drive at end of 4th to eat up the clock so I think we should get credit for 3-7 points. it is about eating clock as much as points.
and let's face it, we aren't going to see the option against this year. lol and the contenders don'[t have a QB that fast. a QB that small has to best fast to play college football

Dude clemson has struggled with Syracuse Louisville and Nc State.
Besides Notre Dame you haven't played one team better then Miss St, LSU, Tennesse, A&M. Just cuz they have losses doesn't mean there not good. We all play each other, the losses have to go somewhere.

I hate to say it but the next SEC team to beat Bama will probably be next year when they play Ole Miss. For some reason, the Reb's have Bama's number.

Yes. I went to the game. Really thought we had it. The crowd was into it the entire way, the oline held its own for the most part, and the defense played well. Lost my shite when Croyle hit that Luke whatever his last name is. Ughh that game was one of many heartbreaking defeats in Shula's tenure.
