Alabama is in the bottom half of the SEC in penalties they sure called a holding on OJ Howard in a critical spot at Ole Miss, but keep believing it's the refs that are handing you losses this year...

I still just stare in disbelief as to how they arrived at that Patrick Peterson call. Catches the ball with TWO feet in.
And no explanation, no nothing, just "the ruling on the field stands." Of course it didn't hurt that the replay official was an Alabama grad (just like in the SECCG every year.)
Last year's game had a beaut also. 17-17 in the fourth quarter, 3rd and long, bama throws a pass to the sideline. No contact, no nothing, but wait - a late flag for PI on LSU.
Amazing. Simply amazing how they get away with it time after time after time.

It will be interesting to see if there are any critical calls or no-calls made late in the game and which team benefits. A conspiracy theorist would suggest that the officials will "protect" Bama's national ranking and will get all of the calls down the stretch if the game is close.
