Plot twist. None of that happens and Bama goes to their 4th playoff in a row.

West records:

7-1 or better will win it.

True since 2008.

Well what does auburn return next year? I'm not meaning that in a rude way but I do want to know what y'all return. Is white a junior or a senior?

Why would you predict the standings for next and not even know who is returning

Bama

Auburn
LSU
State

A&M first 7 games

Arkansas

A&M last 5 games

Ole Miss

2-4 could fall any way, I give Auburn and LSU the edge over State but any order there wouldn't surprise me.

A&M hasn't finished last in a conference or division since the 1970's.

They'll finish 4-4 or 3-5 in conference and Sumlin will finally run out of excuses and scapegoats.

Then he will pull a Melvin Watkins and say that no one can win here and his successor will go 15-0.

2.-7. Everyone else.

Every school in the SEC had 4+ losses this year besides Bama, and each school looked like absolute dog shite in a couple of games. So your school is returning 90% of the starters from a crap team? Whoopty freaking do.

I see 4 grouping with potential movement within any of the first 3 groupings.

1. Alabama
2. Auburn

3. LSU
4. State

5. ATM
6. Arky

7. Ole Miss.

Kind of hard to predict when we don't know who is leaving for the NFL and such as of yet.

Arkansas will return 4/5 on the OL, RB's Rawleigh Williams and Devwah Whaley, QB Austin Allen, TE Austin Cantrell, and WR Jared Cornelius. The defense is where the team will be made or broken. Switching to the 3-4 next year so should see improvement against running QBs. The offense should still be really good though, especially with 4/5 starters returning on the OL.

Arkansas will probably win 8-9 games and go 5-3 or 4-4 in league play.

State could be anywhere between 3-6 imo. We haven't come in last in awhile and I think the ole miss crapstorm prevents that next year as well. If the defense improves we can be 2-3 depending on how good Auburn is. If not we're looking at 5-6.

Id say Guice and Pettway are both better than post-injured Chubb. He didn't show me anything last year that suggested he was clearly better than both of them.

Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson have been better as true freshmen than Adams and Lawson were.

But they are not as good as Adams and Lawson were this year, which is the point - there will be some sort of drop off.

Since we are speculating I will give AU the edge only because of what
I think Stidham can bring to the table but LSU with Guice and depending what their new OC can do are not far behind.

1. UA
2A. AU
2B. LSU

The rest does not matter unless Ark or MSU has an upset or two
