Saw a threat earlier that predicted the East Records next year, so wanted to have a little fun and see what people thought the west would turn out like next year? My prediction:
1. Alabama
2. LSU
3. Auburn
4. State (was tempted to put state as the third best)

5. Arky
6. Ole Piss
7. A&M

LSU fans set themselves up for so much disappointment, it really is entertaining.

Well what does auburn return next year? I'm not meaning that in a rude way but I do want to know what y'all return. Is white a junior or a senior?

How is putting a team at number 2 setting up for disappointment? It's not like he said national championship or bust . They most definitely have a chance to compete in the sec.

Why is what he said funny?

We return arguably(which I expect AU fans to argue) the SEC's best RB, a serviceable QB, a decent but not great Oline, and a defense that held all but A&M under 21 pts. We actually have a easier schedule save trips to Tuscaloosa and UF. Now we should curb a few emotions before we see the offense Canada uses at LSU and it's attack towards physically dominating defenses. What helps, is he will be lining up his unit against a very dominating unit every practice.

Instead of laughing, make your case. What do you return, what does your schedule look like, who do you have coming in other than Baptist Cam, and what changes are expected?

Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson have been better as true freshmen than Adams and Lawson were.
Davidson isn't the pass rusher that Lawson is, but he's a more complete DE and we have other guys that can rush the passer.

We're stacked on DL. Losing those guys suck but we can handle it.

Y'all lose some major talent and experience on defense, no?

Well honestly we don't know yet.

Jamal Adams is saying he wants to win the Heisman trophy in 2017(go ahead and laugh, it's justified), Godchaux still hasn't decided, and we aren't really hurting for CB's or safeties atm it's just plug and play. LB is a concern. One we need to address.... the past 6 years. Good thing we have Dave Aranda.

Losing Beckwith would hurt, but we already lost him and have played 2 games without him.

WE aren't really losing as much as people believe on defense.

I'll be interested to see how AUs receivers develop. Didn't get a lot of production from them this year

It's not LSU will be competitive in the west. I like Bama over LSU next year simply because Bama returns their entire offense and most of the defense. Bama was a really young team this year. The best part is Bama returns all but one of their starting OL if you count Lester Cotton as a starter.

I don't know what Auburn returns on defense next year but I like Bama chances.

Adams is not coming back, 0% that happens. He was joking around about that Heisman 17 stuff to dodge questions about him declaring

Alabama will have 3-4 losses next year. They're losing too much and the schedule is too hard. tDecline is real.

Signed,
Everyone for the past 6 years.
