Surprised so many people are leaving Missouri off their list. They had almost 1000 more yards than the third ranked rushing offense last year.

LT and LG graduated... RS SR and RS JR taking their place.

I'm shocked to see the lack of respect for State's rushing game with Prescott at QB for a full season.
Your top RB last season ran for 542 yards. That doesn't exactly instill confidence in what they will do this year with or without Prescott. There too many other good rushing attacks in the SEC right now.

Huh. Goes to show how much stock to put in recruiting stars.
Yep, sometimes they miss some biggins but in the end I think most programs that looked into Gurley knew the stud they'd get

How is Marshall doing on recovering? Are y'all confident he can come back and perform like he did his freshman year?
I think he's doing well and should be ready by the latest a few games in. Luckily for us Green and Douglas got a lot of carries last year and we brought in 2 more 5*s in Chubb and Michel so there is no need to rush him.
As for him performing idk, ACLs are tricky. I hope so for his sake. Dude is one fast mofo

Mississippi State's rushing game will be really good next year, I'll bet.
They'll probably rush for around 3,000 yards on the season, maybe more.
Thanks TT- no doubt we will run the ball better with Prescott in there.
But there is no doubt- the SEC is coming back with a vengence in 2014. LOADED

surprised so many people are putting LSU on the edge. We return 4 of 5 OL, our best blocking TE and an inexperienced qb, we are gonna be 65/35 run

Yet we still finished 8th in the SEC in rushing playing Russell 1/3 of the season that just killed our running game
Robinson averaged 5.88 ypc as the back-up. The only reason he didnt start was because of Perkins being a Sr

I think it is more people expect the other teams to run for more while LSU could still put up numbers that would lead the SEC most years. Gonna be a physical season.

Mullen should be fired if he plays seniors just because they're seniors.

Total
1. Auburn (on 10000000000 rushes)
Well, considering Auburn averaged about a half a yard per carry more than every other SEC team last year, 10000000000 probably won't be necessary. Maybe just 50 or so less than the 2nd best team?
ETA: Just realized YOU made the post.. I'll disregard logic and reason and accept the troll.

He's started running again, so that's good. I'd say he'll be available to start the season, but the staff may choose to kind of bring back slowly. A few carries a game to start the season and try to have him up to speed by game 5-6. We have a lot of depth so we should be able to get away with that approach.
I think Clemson and USCe will see a good bit of Michel and Chubb in addition to Gurley with Marshall playing maybe a couple series.

The year of the QB is over and now it'll be the year of the RB

he does this with some players- and it's a big beef with the fans. You wont talk to a State fan that thought Perkins should have started over JRob

He's the returning passing yards leader by like a mile or so
