Kentucky is a no brainer at the SEC's pre-season number 1. Hell, I think they're the no brainer for national pre-season number 1.

Lower.

I respectfully disagree with you. We definitely don't have anybody that can competently play the 5 right now that we know of, but our other 4 starters will be:

3 JRs, each w/ 2 years of starting experience coming into the year.

1 Redshirt SR

We're very experienced and almost half of our losses last year came with either Morris or Gaines out of the starting lineup.

The league was SO bad overall this year

It ain't getting any better any time soon. UF and UK are obviously the class of the conference, but after that, who really scares you?

I don't want to see Arky in BWA, but other than that, not a single team or location in the conference concerns me too much. LSU has the opportunity to be good, but they return less than we do and we swept them last year.

After that top 5 (at least what I consider the top 5...including us), it's a complete disaster. The remaining 9 teams are all in worse shape than us coming into the year.

AU - The wild card, but I think they have less talent than we do right now.

UT - Train wreck, which is unreal after a Sweet 16 appearance, but that's where they stand.

Mizzou - Train wreck. Coach left for a lesser job and discipline seems to be an issue.

Ole Miss - No Hendo or Summers returning, we'll see how that plays out. No Hendo could be good.

Vandy - We're going to lose to Vandy regardless, it's what we do in basketball.

Alabama - Train wreck, thank god we didn't land Grant a few years ago.

aTm - CBI? CIT? Whatever it was

Carolina - You'd expect them to be better in Martin's 3rd year, but they also probably have less talent than we do on the current roster.

Miss St - Admittedly, I do not know enough about their 2014-2015 outlook to form an opinion. Them finishing in the top half of the conference standings would be quite unexpected though.

UF will lose a ton of experience, but talent wise next year's UF team will be the most talented since the Back 2 Back title teams.

And UK's may be the deepest since '96 if the Twins return.

Yeah, and they had 7 future pros on their roster this year and UF went 3-0 against them.

And still made it further than Florida in the NCAA Tournament.

So your point?

I guess its a good thing those #40-0 shirts weren't dated.

I'd take our season this year over UK's every time.

That we beat you three times, twice in March?

UK wasn't a better team than UF in March. We just ran into the UConn buzzsaw a round earlier.

What happened to the dunno emoticon?

Train wreck is a bit much, we'll still finish in the top half of the league. Our roster is probably the least talented its been in well over a decade, but that's 100% Cuonzo's fault.

Some of the transfers and JUCO guys Tyndall has targeted have me tad bit more optimistic than I was a week ago.

Summers isn't returning? Do you know something we don't?

Alabama will be a lot better next season and should have one of the more talented rosters in the conference. They're bringing in like six newcomers, all of whom can play. I don't know quite how good they'll be, but they should be good enough to finish in the upper half of the conference.

Henderson is the only one OM lost to graduation (lol).

There are rumors of a couple of other guys transferring, but Summers isn't one of them.

I don't think they will finish the conference season 2nd but they deserve to be 2nd going in. They have more known quantities coming back compared to Florida.

So if the Harrison twins leave, will you rank Arkansas over Kentucky?

Why you so mad?

From what I've heard our schedule will look something like this:

Twice:
Tenn
Mizzou
SCAR
Ole Ms
Ms. Stateand

Home:
aggy
UGA
Bama
Vandy

Away
Auburn
LSU
UK
UF

Over all pretty favorable for Arkansas.

Not mad.

I'm confident we'll finish ahead of Arkansas next season regardless of how favorable your schedule may be.

This is more what I was referring to, I'm just not seeing the talent at UT that has been there seemingly forever.

That's my bad, I thought he was a senior this past year for some reason. I still don't think that puts OM in contention for top 5 spot in the league next year, though.

This is all I've heard since Grant got there. They improved briefly then regressed. I'm still in "show me" mode on them.

The talent is there, just Tennessee fans are trying to cover the bases of a bad hire.

When he causes them to suck it will be "see I told you so!".

If he keeps his mouth quite and sits on the bench and lets the talent play their way to a good season it will be "Wow, Tyndall was a home run hire!".
