Week 4, 9/22
#3 LSU at Auburn
Missouri at #9 South Carolina (if AU loses to Moo U Saturday)

Week 5, 9/29
#8 Arkansas at Texas A&M

Week 6, 10/6
#3 LSU at #24 Florida
#7 Georgia at #9 South Carolina (if both are undefeated and UF has losses to aTm and the Vols)

Week 7, 10/13
#1 Alabama at Missouri

Week 8, 10/20
#3 LSU at Texas A&M
#1 Alabama at Tennessee (Tennessee has to be unbeaten)

Week 11, 11/10
Texas A&M at #1 Alabama

Week 12, 11/17
#8 Arkansas at Mississippi State

Week 13, 11/24

Depends on which is the better story at the time.

PJinAtl,

You're missing my posts. I provided what CBS has turned over to an affiliate station already.

LSU/Auburn unless ESPN uses their bonus pick

UGA/Tennessee

UGA/USCe though I could easily see LSU/UF

USCe/LSU

Bama/Tennessee

Bama/TAM because Arky and USCe will have lost luster at that point

LSU/OM

Bama/Auburn

On Nov 3 is CBS going to show a 2:30 game as well as LSU/Bama at night?

While certainly a likely list, this is really just a "best guess" thing put together to give advertisers an idea what they're getting...

Why'd you skip 11/3? That's a double header day iirc. Bama/LSU at night is already booked.

Predictions...

quote:

Week 4, 9/22
Missouri at #9 South Carolina
OR
#3 LSU at Auburn

If Mizzou can beat Georgia, it's Missouri-USC, if not, it's LSU-Auburn, although Auburn could be 0-2 on Monday, Sept. 10th, when the decision is made.

quote:

Week 5, 9/29
#8 Arkansas at Texas A&M
OR
Tennessee at #6 Georgia

Will depend on outcome of Tennessee-Florida game. If UT is unbeaten, UT-Georgia will be the CBS game.

quote:

Week 6, 10/6
#7 Georgia at #9 South Carolina
#3 LSU at #24 Florida

Tough choice here if Florida is unbeaten. If they have a loss, UGa-USC is likely.

quote:

Week 7, 10/13
#9 South Carolina at #3 LSU

Unless one of us has really flopped by then, this is almost certain to be the choice.

quote:

Week 8, 10/20
#1 Alabama at Tennessee

Unless Tennessee has taken more than one or two losses by then, this is the choice. If UT is tanking and A&M is looking really good, then LSU-A&M is a possibility.

quote:

Week 11, 11/10
#8 Arkansas at #9 South Carolina

Getting pretty far out at this point. No telling what the big games will be based on standings, but this looks most likely to be the big matchup from a standings/rankings point of view.

quote:

Week 12, 11/17
Ole Miss at #3 LSU

Pretty slim pickings this week. If Ole Miss is having any kind of resurgence under Freeze, this will likely be the game chosen. But the same goes for UT-Vandy if Vandy is looking improved or Arkie-State if State is coming on strong, so who knows?

quote:

Week 13, 11/24
Auburn at #1 Alabama

Iron bowl for sure, even if Auburn is stinking it up by then.

Money says ESPN is targeting that USCe/LSU game as their extra pick this year.(pick given to ESPN for the rights to Bama/LSU last year) Here's hoping USCe doesn't frick it up. Want that to be a night game. Welcome the 'Cocks to Baton Rouge the right way.
