Everyone complains/brags about how hard an SEC schedule is, and how if teams in other conferences had to play an SEC schedule, they'd be 0-8 in conference play.

Next year brings a unique opportunity to see exactly how 2 teams from outside the conference (at least formally) fair against SEC competition.

How do you see the W's & L's breaking down for each of the newbies? only counting conference games here...

I think we will manage more than one home win.

Also, I'd like to think we'll beat aTm for the third straight year at College Station. We need to get our W's in against aTm while we can, I think they are going to really grow as a program in the SEC - all the pieces are already in place.

I'll say 3-4 wins in the SEC. Also, our OOC this season is going to be a total joke since we had to reschedule games due to the move. So probably 7-5 or 8-4 on the season.

Nov. 10: at Tennessee - Toss-Up (If they play like they did last season, I can't imagine they beat us. However, if they are healthy and more mature than last season, it will be tough.)
Nov. 24: at Texas A&M - W

I would have to say 5-3 would be best case for Mizzou. Even if we are as good as I think we will be next season, I don't see Pinkel winning 3 road games in a row. I do think we win the home opener against UGA, though of course we will be underdogs. I was stretching a bit on the road win @ Florida, but that game will probably be a toss-up or maybe FL a 3 point favorite. We are due for a loss against A$M. We almost lost this year to them and they have got to be pissed that they keep losing to us.

I simplpy can't see Missouri or Texas winning more than 4 games in conference the first year. The SEC athlete is a totally different animal and it will take a few years to adjust.

MIZZOU:

L's - UGA, USCe, Bama, Fla

W's - UK, Vandy @ home

Toss ups - Tenn, TAMU

TAMU

L's - Florida, Ark, LSU, Bama

W's - Ole Miss

Toss Ups - Auburn, Miss St, Mizzou

I have to say, I'm really not understanding Tenn's optimism.

Congrats, the guys y'all are so excited about returning are the same ones that got you a last place finish in the east and a 26 year streak broken.

I have to imagine that things would have been different had several of UT's key players had not been injured. Also, the recruiting class coming in is very promising considering the disaster of last year. There's several reasons to be optimistic given several circumstances.

Anywhere between 6-6 (2-6) and 9-3 (5-3). Doubtful that we'll be worse than 6-6 and it would take a win over Alabama, LSU, or Arkansas to be better than 9-3; which is not likely.
