Texas does have a gift of a schedule. You guys weren't kidding.

SEC wanted to preserve Arkansas, Ags & OU games. And, I’m glad to see those 3 regularly on our schedule again.

Obviously, these are all opinions but unless you are from Arkansas it is hard to understand the hate we have for Texas.

I agree with you. Arkansas HATES Texas.. I am pumped that this game is coming back..

I have @ Arkansas as our 5th hardest game next year.

1) vs Georgia
2) @ Michigan
3) Oklahoma (Dallas)
4) @ A&M
5) @ Arkansas

I don't really know how to rank these games
6a) vs Miss State (Art Briles will be helping Lebby on this one)
6b) vs Kentucky (Bob Stoops will be helping on this one)
6c) vs Florida (it's later in the year, who knows what FL is doing at that point)

We better win these games
@ Vanderbilt
CSU
UTSA
ULM

Hopefully we win the bottom 7 games.. if so, then we have to go 3-2 or better in the top 5 to make the playoffs imo.
If we lose 3 games, we are likely out.

TEXAS OKLAHOMA

Georgia --------------- Alabama
Florida ---------------- Auburn
Texas A&M ---------- LSU
Oklahoma ---------- Texas
Arkansas ------------ Missouri
Kentucky ------------ South Carolina
Miss State ---------- Ole Miss
Vanderbilt ----------- Tennessee

I don't exactly know what the point of your post was but basically you listed the two schedules for Texas and Oklahoma other than you put down Oklahoma on each side and left out Texas all together.

But using the side by side comparison you put up there... it is obvious that when those pairs of teams are measured against each other (by bolding the better team)..

Texas' schedule is way easier.

Anything less would be a pretty bad season considering. Michigan will probably take a step backward. OU may be far better and UGA will be as good or better. 10/19 is gonna be yuge.....

I was just showing the other side of the Texas schedule.. if we rotated and then played those teams in 2026 & 2027. Yes, it is your schedule for 2024 & 2025.

As for the difficulty between the two..
this year, I agree. Our schedule is easier, but I think it is luck more than anything because some of the teams are down.. or up..

But over the last 10 years

this combination is comparable imo
Georgia + Florida ~ Alabama + Auburn

this combination is comparable imo
A&M + Arkansas ~ LSU + Missouri
these are both rivalry games for Texas

this combination is comparable imo
Kentucky + Miss State ~ South Carolina + Ole Miss

this is where the main difference lies
Vanderbilt <<<<< Tennessee

Because Ole Miss & Missouri are better this year, if they had made the small change and flipped Vanderbilt & Tennessee, I think both of our schedules would have been pretty comparable..

This year, it's quite a bit different.. but I can see the rationale for how they drew them up. It was just bad luck for you guys.

It could be #1 vs #2 if we both take care of business before then..
I'm sure we will mess that up though..

One of us will or the voters will....but it'd be fun. I have my tickets...my daughter is gonna have to pay for college herself but with her grades who knows but ditch digging is a viable career path! GO DAWGS!

People are forgetting the Georgia game is the week after Red River, which is always the most emotional game of the year and both teams are always banged up

OU always has their number so I wouldn’t be surprised if they drop both of those
