Son, take some advice from an Old Ag. Your t-sip obsession is showing, and it is embarrassing. Tap the brakes.

I have them going 10-2 with losses against OU and UGA

@Michigan and A&M won’t be cakewalks either

Could see them finishing 8-4 as well

Their schedule is ridiculously easy for the next two years conference wise. Michigan is going to be a completely different team in 24. Lost a lot of starters and new coach. It will make a difference. I see them winning that no problem. They will lose to GA. The game with A&M is a toss up because you can never tell about old rivalry games. They’ll win all the rest.

Why do the new guys get the easiest schedule in the conference?

I'm struggling to find even one likely loss on that schedule.

That has to be the easiest schedule in the conference

Everyone plays 4 games against these 8 teams (incl Texas)
Georgia --------------- Alabama
Florida ---------------- Auburn
Texas A&M ---------- LSU
Oklahoma ---------- Oklahoma

Everyone plays 4 games against these 8 teams
Arkansas ------------ Missouri
Kentucky ------------ South Carolina
Miss State ---------- Ole Miss
Vanderbilt ----------- Tennessee

The left schedule is easier.. but only because Vanderbilt isn't Tennessee. It also helps that Florida isn't all that good right now.

That was luck more than schedule imo.

We were told for years that the SEC is the toughest conference and we would go winless there. Evidently it now sucks.

Really wish you guys would make up your mind

The SEC is the toughest conference top to bottom. Anyone who suggested that meant Texas would be winless in the SEC is a fricking moron. Vandy is a given. UF is as bad as UF gets, Arkansas is LOUSY, UK is UK and is generally a tough win for most as is Mississippi State. UGA and ATM are the best teams on the schedule that were SEC members last season and UGA is what it is....it is about as easy as an SEC schedule gets....but harder than UTs 2023 Conference Slate, OU not included. A strong big 12 schedule was akin to what Texas faces in the SEC its first year.

Last year Texas had a higher ranked strength of schedule than all but 2 sec teams (one of which they beat on the road by double digits). So this is just plain wrong (unless you’re saying that Texas wil have the third hardest schedule in the sec next year)

Oh I know. Most of the posters who said this stupid shite were fans of teams who never win the SEC. It's just funny how they've changed their tune.

We know the SEC is the best conference. It's why we came here.

True but I think there's more to it. In the SEC every road trip (outside vandy perhaps) will be hostile and loud. Most of the Big12 schools don't really care that much about football. We'll have to bring it every week.
Not to mention we will have a big target on our backs being the new kid on the block. We'll get everyone's best shot you can count on that.

Depends how SEC refs call their games, which is TBD.

Not so fast my friends. Obviously, these are all opinions but unless you are from Arkansas it is hard to understand the hate we have for Texas. The Horns won't be blindsided but the chances of them coming out with a win in Fayetteville are not good. I don't think last year is a good gauge of the Razorback program and unless we're having a terrible season already, I'll bet on a decent Arkansas win.

Again, Burnt Orange wins in Bold and 9-3 record overall
