Johnson had a weird day, he was a competent defense away from 5 interceptions, but he was also two thrown away balls outside of the pocket away from 1 interception. What was most alarming is that he (by my count) threw into triple coverage three times. It only resulted in one interception, but that's what is more alarming. If he throws the balls away that he should, his line looks more respectable.

Now, I have to admit, after the talk this summer, his skill set was a little different than I thought going into the game. He isn't really a good runner. He isn't a particularly tough runner which is odd given his size, but his arm is really strong. He didn't show a lot of touch, but the calls in that game didn't really call for touch. He threw a beautiful ball on the long touchdown that was called back because the Auburn player hauled down the Louisville defender. Quite the mixed bag.

My prediction against LSU:

15/29 205 yards 1 touchdown 1 interception. 10 carries for 30 yards.

Anyone that puts too much stock into one game usually regrets it.

After Jeremy Johnson proved he is the worst QB in the SEC and that Auburn is headed for a .500 season at best, predict his stats against your defense. I just want to know how much alcohol I'll need on the respective gameday. TIA.

The butthurt is so strong with this one. People rightfully criticizing JJ's shitty play on Saturday is not the same thing as saying that AU will go 6-6 or that JJ's the worst in the league. It's such strawman bullshite that I'd expect it to be coming from fans of a team with much less promise than Auburn.

tl;dr - You're a terrible poster.

On a related note, what is the SEC record for interceptions thrown in one season?

Kurt Page, '83 Vanderbilt with 29. JJ is on pace to obliterate that record.

ETA: Bleah, I'm way too slow.

Joking? I'm essentially starting a prediction thread. I really don't care what you think about it.

We looked fine against Louisville. Bobby Petrino and Todd Grantham are two coaches that are intimately aware of our strengths and weaknesses. JJ tried to force the ball all night instead of just throwing it away or going to the check down. Honestly, I'm just salty that the rant how gone to shite in the past couple of years.
