QB is probably the only position Bama can't afford to lose the starter at

You're silly....Alabama is still better than 2 of those teams without AJ and our back up in.

Maye but I dont trust Blake Sims or Alec Morris if thrown into the fire like that

10-2.

Losses to aTm and LSU. Blake Sims could run the read option well enough to best everyone else. We couldn't keep up with the Aggie's offense and LSU would shut down the run game.

Not sure about this one. Bama would still be better at every position on the field, including Quarterback, IMO.

Maybe one more loss. They still have so much talent it doesn't matter who they have as the signal caller honestly. The defense and run game will win games by themselves if they have to.

12-0. All we need is someone to manage the game. We don't need someone that can make amazing throws. We just need someone to not throw interceptions or fumble the ball and convert on a few 3rd and longs.

Didn't LSU recently prove you can go through the regular season undefeated with a garbage QB if there is strong enough talent around him though?

I don't get what's funny

Last year we beat you 21-17, and I can't off the top of my head think of any amazing throws made by AJ. The screen was pretty clutch, but that doesn't stick out to me as a feat that requires amazing accuracy or arm strength.

During 21-0, AJ repeatedly rolled out and dumped it off to a TE. That doesn't require a world beater. We just need someone to not force it when it isn't there and throw it away rather than take sacks. Our defense and running game are good enough to where we don't need an amazing passer.

Only works for super good teams like LSU.

If he gets hurt after the A&M game we go like 18-0.

LSU: because, you know, like, The Decline (TM).
