What Will Wade has done at LSU so far is unprecedented. He has totally changed thr mindset of our basketball program and has flipped our recruiting 180 degrees. I have faith he will have us on track this season

By most metrics they were.

KenPom, BPI, etc.
By overall record, SEC record, RPI, postseason finish, even H2H, Ole Miss was as good or better

There are situations where KenPom is flawed

The thing that seems insane to me is that Tennessee fans think that the 2013 Tennessee basketball team that featured Stokes, McRae, and Richardson was a failure for only reaching the sweet 16. Tennessee fans say this team had 3 NBA players so they should have achieved much more yet fail to mention that every single one of these players was absolute garbage in the NBA, averaging like 1.9 points per game. Most couldn’t tell you if any of them are still in the NBA.

I’m not a Cuonzo defender because he has underachieved with highly touted recruits, especially at Cal, but he’s not bad. He’s one of the better coaches in the SEC.

Imagine if I said that Frank Haith underachieved in 2012 when he had Phil Pressey, Jordan Clarkson, and Jabari Brown, who all were in the NBA by reaching the sweet 16. People would call me insane.

Cuonzo was very underwhelming at Tennessee. I went to almost every home game and many trips on the road to see his teams play. He was very close to missing the tournament all 3 years with that Maymon/Stokes/Golden/McRae/Richardson core and advanced to the Sweet 16 by winning a play in game that they never should have had to play before beating maybe the worst 6 seed in modern tournament history (UMass) and a 14 seed in Mercer.

Auburn is probably returning the best offensive team and overall depth in the entire league. The defense was so bad last year that it has to get better and if it does then there really should be no issue getting to the NCAAT.

****ofcourse if it turns out our two best players can't play then back to the cellar

I’m excited for the SEC to see what our fan base can do in a game in Mizzou arena. Until Kim #cratered our program it was pretty damn tough to win at Mizzou arena.

All season tickets are sold out. Our exhibition game for this Sunday sold out in 5 mins and they’re selling PPV at $40/per.

Gonna be lit.

And after you ran him off, y’all have returned to the amazing previous highs of Tennessee basketball.

Zo finna eat.

Balance of power in the SEC just shifted in a MAJOR way.

Literally LOL at people not having Mizzou even in the top 4. For fricks sake people.

If Barnes doesn’t make the field this year I believe it will be time to put him out to pasture.

I’m glad you’re excited about Zo though. Probably the most excited you’ll ever be about his program is before you see him in action.

Don't know why tRant won't pull this to the top when I reply, but I think OP deserves to be highlighted for putting the Vols in the cellar. As I said before the season started, 14, seriously? Great hoops knowledge, dude!
