Not that much of a stretch. If he's the starter the entire year, it's probable.

UF QB's last year: 19 pass TD, 2880 pass yards, 58.2 completion percentage.

That's a nice looking roster for Tennessee. With a veteran QB, a solid two deep, and the SEC east as it is, anything less than an SEC east title has to be a major disappointment and put Butch on the hot seat. UT fans should be thinking SEC championship really.

Indeed. UGA gets to replace an ill-fated 2013 recruiting class (now true seniors) with Smart's first full class.

Probably as advantageous a roster situation as any new college coach has inherited in a while. Since Les Miles maybe.

I mean if you're into having experience across the board in your starters and two deep, UGA is going to have it in spades in 2017. Looks eerily similar to Richt's 2nd year, right down to a starting sophomore QB.

I don't agree. Switch Sheffield and Fitzpatrick back. Sheffield has better speed. Fitzpatrick is in a good spot at star because of his ball hawk ability where he can play more zone. He doesn't run bad with receivers but I think Sheffield will be similar to Humphrey to where he can run with receivers well. Kind of like milliner did.

seems like your memory is a little off. That starting secondary posted has a total of 31 starts returning from '15.

How soon you forget cy jones - 15 starts and geno matias smith - 15 starts.

but if it makes you feel better OK. bama has entire secondary returning.
