Agreed. Even if it doesn't catch up to him until much later in life, this kind of stuff is textbook. Hope he gets the help he needs.

Bent doesn't seem to recognize that the drinking itself isn't the problem. It's that he put drinking before his life responsibilities that's a problem. The campers who were excited to see him, The Mannings who gave him the opportunity, Texas A&M, etc., he let em all down. This is embarrassing for him.
Yet, instead of trying to move past the story, they put out some bullshite about him being sick yesterday so he wouldn't have to be held accountable and he was out at the bars again that very night.

I know he messed up.
But I am not going to through the alcoholic bomb around because he can afford to drink in Vegas and not at Bogies. He f'd up. He is famous. He doesn't give a frick in my opinion. I think that personality is what he feeds off on the field. He is a live freaking wire and will be as a pro. Thats it. Im not sure what the rant wants here.
