What else doesn't Saban care about? Maybe he should've given Art Briles a call for the OC position. Seems like it would've been a good fit.

Saban's actually more progressive than most coaches on weed. He doesn't care if you smoke it, but if you get arrested for it he will (and has) punished players.
Per usual, Saban is ahead of the curve (and the NFL) on this and will of course help with recruiting players who appreciate that.
There's already movement that the NFL is going to revoke its weed policy soon.
It's actually good publicity that Williams is talking about this. Win for Saban.

I was talking to Nick about weed the other day and told him that his way of handling it among players would likely upset some in the sec.
