USC hasn't had a good running back since 2005 meanwhile Auburn has had a 1,000 yd back every year since 2005. you make no sense.

but auburn has 20 plus backs who have ran over aleast 1,000 yds in an overall tougher league to run in.

But USC has five Heisman Trophy winners at the position.

You're comparing an option ground attack with a pro-set. Yes, the rushing numbers will be greater for the option

Idk. USC produced 5 Heisman winning RBs in that time, which was the point.

USC has only had 1 worthwhile RB in the last 30 years but they are RBU based off the ones who won a Heisman in the 70's????

Doesn't matter unless they produce in the NFL. Position U means that they are getting an advanced degree in their position to go do work. If they don't go do work in the NFL what university they went to is irrelevant.

D-Line U is something I've never heard us called even though we've produced giants of the game. We're usually WRU.

That said, we're also Punter U/Special Teams U.

Reggie White
Albert Haynesworth
Derek Barnett

amongst others, cant lie UT pretty solid on the line. Special teams is absolutely a no go. auburn owns that title.

Can you beat Reggie White and Derek Barnett (to name only two)? Have you had two players become the highest paid DLs in the NFL?

yeah but what does it matter if they won it 25 years ago

What AU running back in the last 25 years was better than Reggie Bush?

AU has had a ton of very good RBs and a couple of elite RBs. Not knocking them at all. My point is that to say they are RBU is biased. USC has 5 Heisman winning RBs (AU has one). USC has 3 NFL HOF RBs (AU has none).

You must have not seen Nebraska in the 70s,80s,90s and early 2000.
