OM doesn't fire coaches for losing to LSU. But the EB? That seems to be a different story.

You cant name a single coach that was fired due to the EB. Nutt and Orgeron were both headed out the door no matter what. I don't even remember if Cut lost to you all his last year, not that it would have mattered, and Tubby was already leaving so it would have had to be some one way down the line you are thinking of.

Obviously we cant say for sure either way because of what did happen, but that whole season was an abortion and a single SEC win, even against MSU, was not saving his job IMHO.
