It'll help fan attendance, get the city of Tuscaloosa to like baseball again, but idk how much improvement will come from the team. But Alabama should return a lot. Lost Ben Moore and Turnbull last year. Hopefully they return the right field ragers for the students. That was fun last year.

This is the in-game thread, for some reason. We need to create one tOfficial SEC Tournament thread that doesn't have score updates every inning. You can't expect the OP to watch every inning of every game in the tournament 
In the OP, there should be a bracket, a listing of each game and first pitch times, maybe a link to the SEC Tournament's Wikipedia page for some historical info, maybe a link to the official secsports.com page for press releases, and a listing of TV and radio coverage affiliates.
KSGamecock (or is it Caycecock?), if you're reading this, make it happen. Whichever Cock starts the tOfficial threads is tGOAT.

Alabama brings back a lot for 2016. And with the new stadium, it should create a lot of buzz around the program. We saw some of that in 2014 with a solid team and the right field lounge they tried out, which will be part of the new stadium too.

I think they've played well down the stretch of the season. Very competitive series vs Vandy to close out the reg. season, but just not good enough finish out. Being swept by Arkansas hurt too.

On a lighter note, I would have hated playing in that early game. Good job Bama and hopefully the Bears make it to a regional.

coach just said on post game that team has responded well since classes got out and now they just have to focus on baseball and not all of the extra travel involved in the met being their home game. I think we need to win 2 and possible make it to the finals to be in the NCAA. Ole miss being out gives Bama a better shot I would think

The 12-18 conference record going into the tourney is a lot to overcome. I think they need to win 3 games to even bring in the conversation.
At least in their last 15 games at the moment they have been .500. If they win 3 games they can get to 9-6 or so in the last 15, which the committee looks at.
