Last year was not bad, mainly because it was played in the day, as this year.
Coldest I've ever been was LB at Night in early '90's & I've been lots of cold places & know how to dress.

Seriously Sarge, you HAVE TO go to Tom's BBQ in behind Graceland. Nice safe neighborhood and unbelievable.
They do a Greek rub on their rib tips that is the best BBQ I've ever had.

I have family there and have lived there myself. I can't agree that I've never felt threatened, but it's not as bad as Memphis. Regardless, it was just a cheap jab at the sewer LSU fans call home.

It's an OK part of Memphis..not a bad area, but not particularly scenic. There's nothing particularly scenic about Memphis at all though. I lived there for four years, and while I had good time, no one in their right mind would call Memphis a "premier destination." There are worse bowl destinations, for sure though. As far as prestige, Liberty Bowl used to be a much bigger deal but it's still above the likes of the Belk Bowl.
