Just a little heated rivalry, nothing major.
I don't particularly like Gainesville, but I don't hate UF.
Some of them are bitches on here, but I'm not going to put that on the entire fan base.

I actually like and respect LSU the program. Some of their fans are boxes of rocks but we all have those.
I'd say the largest % of them have that script A on their hats and shirts.

They are SEC Rivals so they play each other a lot and there is often a lot at stake.
Additionally LSU fans went absolutely apeshit when Florida pussed out over the hurricane instead of making alternate plans. The rest of us did our absolute best to fan the flames into a raging inferno.

You have a very convenient memory of the timeline of events. LSU was pissed off at Florida longgggg before that game was ever actually played. As a matter of fact, I don't know anyone who was pissed at Florida for winning.

Btw my very first football game I ever attended was an LSU-UF game.
Trust me when I say I do not hate LSU fans. It's also the game I've personally attended the most thus far.

I kinda hate FSU and Miami, very much dislike UGA at times. The LSU thang is just a short term blip, will probably only last a decade or so ;) UF and LSU fans have generally gotten along pretty well.

LSU fans hate that a call was made to postpone a game due to weather, they got the game AT HOME instead, then they ran their mouths for weeks about how Florida was scared and how LSU was going to kill them. Then their hero didn't play, their coach proved to be a moron, and Florida beat them in their house and now they've got to play in Florida for the next two years.
That's what LSU fans hate. They hate that they run their mouths all the time and very rarely does their team back up that fan talk on the field. They don't know how to process that frustration, so they direct it at Florida (and the SEC office, and Tom Ritter, and SEC Scheduling, and everything else that can be used as an excuse)

I personally hate UF and their fan base for a few reasons, all related to my experiences on their campus in 2010 for the LSU basketball and football games:
1) First thing I heard walking into their basketball arena was a mid-30's aged male yell "frick you" to me and my wife. Bro, I know UF basketball is light years better than LSU, so why come at me like that within 5 steps inside your crappy arena?
2) Tailgating for the 2010 football game, me and my party of 25-30 were blockaded from using the closest port-a-cans the entire day by a group of Smirnoff Ice drinking losers wearing UF blue and orange. When it was brought to the police's attention, they said we needed to walk across the main drag to use the McDonald's restroom. Pretty sure the port-a-can was provided by UF and not those losers in cut-off shirts.
3) Finally, the love of jean shorts their male fan base shows. Jeans shorts and sleeveless t-shirts warrant the level of hate located in the 7th circle of hell, IMO.
