My point is that Bielema has won with his players. He came into Wisconsin having already had some of his players in there.... just like Gus did. Bielema came into a shitty situation with mostly terrible players, while Gus came in only one year removed with several players he had recruited. Also, although Chiz sucked, a lot of that record was due to them switching styles of play, rather than bad players. The players Bielema's recruited here are already outperforming the upperclassmen

Who controls whether or not the opposing team plays an injured player? Bert? Of course not. It's the opposing coach. If an opposing coach plays an injured player, how in the fricking frick is it Bert's fault? Is he supposed to run away from those players to be nice?
The substitution issue is completely different because that's something you, as a coach, can't control. Or do incredibly in-shape people never have heat strokes?

Sure it is. Even if he meant it to mean attack the weakness of the opposing team, using a metaphor of attacking a visible injury is dumb.
Especially when said coach claims his passion for player safety.

Bobby Petrino had the same program steam rolling. Bert has it steam rolling as well, just in a different direction.
