Better X's and O's coach. You can't teach talent, though, and where Cal excels is in bringing in top-flight talent. Based upon that factor alone you can expect to be competitive virtually every year with Cal as your coach. That doesn't mean Pitino can't recruit, he can, but just look at Cal's track record. Scary.
