Yeah but I know much y'all don't like us, it just makes it that much better.
Also that was the beginning of Chavis making star Aggie QBs look like middle schoolers. Part 4 coming up soon!

Didn't think we'd have to explain it to Alabama fans.
No offense, but I think I'd rather have the back tat. Less emotional scarring.

What I find amusing is the fact that any of y'all think we care that y'all find it amusing.
This is the stuff we do prior to every game.
Y'all just aren't used to it yet.
In time you'll learn to ignore it and won't think twice about creating/participating in countless threads about Aggie Yell.
(It'll become ol' hat)
This is going to end up starting other traditions in the SEC, just like we did with the hex rally and the Baylor barricades. I'm betting the cocks are the first to make a counter rally a yearly thing.

You asked for it :
Texas Hex Rally
quote:
Since 1923 - for 18 years - the Longhorns had been unable to win a game at Kyle Field. Desperate to break the College Station "jinx," UT students consulted Madam Agusta Hipple, a local fortune teller. She instructed the students to burn red candles the week before the game as a way of "hexing" the Aggies and putting a stop to the jinx.
quote:
Texas went to College Station, defeated the no. 2 ranked Aggies 23 - 0
quote:
The Texas vs. Texas A&M football game was longstanding rivalry, and as the Aggies then had their own bonfire and rally, members of the Board hoped to create something unique for the University and use the red candles to re-instate the tradition. The first Texas Hex Rally was scheduled for Tuesday, November 25, 1986, two days before the game on Thanksgiving. Madam Hipple, still living in Austin, was invited to attend, but declined because of her age.
quote:
With the Longhorn Band's arrival and a Main Mall packed with students, the inaugural Hex Rally began at 11:30pm with songs, yells, speeches, and a retelling on the origins of the tradition. The Aggies were "hexed" at midnight as thousands of students raised red candles and sang The Eyes of Texas.
The Hex Rally has since become the responsibility of the Texas Exes Student Chapter, which puts the "Hex" on A&M the Monday evening before Thanksgiving.
Baylor's Aggie Sticks and Barricades
quote:
the Baylor men would make a stick and carry it around while they guarded campus. If a girl walked though a barricade and was not with a Baylor man, she had to kiss one of the boys to show she wasn't with an Aggie."
quote:
"As freshmen, we set up barricades at each of the main entrances and took turns standing watch," he said. "It was tradition back then for the Aggies to try and come on campus to pull pranks, usually to paint Judge Baylor."
quote:
One possible beginning for the Aggie sticks may have been a fight at a football game between Baylor and Texas A&M University students.
quote:
a riot broke out. In the midst of the chaos, Charles Milo Sessums of the Corps, a senior at the time, was hit with blunt force and died the following morning at Providence Sanitarium in Waco.
One account from a statement issued by then-Aggie seniors said that the 1,500 Baylor fans were armed with clubs, sticks and iron rods. A different account assumed the event was premeditated because Baylor had two-by-fours stored in two trunks.
The Bears denied the charges and said the likely weapon was a piece of fence or a broken chair.
The Aggies went back to College Station and loaded a cannon on the train with the intentions of attacking Waco and had to be stopped by the Texas Rangers, according to legend
