seems like the most educated parts of the country calls it pop or soda. Hell even in ACC parts of Virginia and North Carolina they are getting away from "coke".

Why do you think that is???

Coke - Introduced in 1886 in Columbus, GA.

Pepsi Cola - Introduced 1898 in New Bern, NC

Brand loyalty is the only reason they don't call it Coke in North Carolina. They aren't "getting away" from Coke. They have always been a Pepsi state.

eta...you freakin yankee

I think most schools, outside of A&M, are handling their current expansions wisely. Focus more on suites, boxes and chairbacks and less on sheer volume.

I can somewhat agree with this. I am not a huge fan of how the south endzone was expanded. Hopefully there are future plans to add in more auites there and maybe some charibacks too. We are downsizing the east side so much (suites, clubs, etc) we still wanted to get capacity up over 100K so we can pack in 30k students every week and not turn them away.

Here are said suites being added / upgraded.

Mizzou has plans to expand another 8,000 after next season.

I'm pretty sure that's not happening. Planning on building coach and athlete's complex in the South endzone, and perhaps adding luxury seats, but my guess is those will come by reducing other seating. New AD (as well as the old) have stated no reason to expand until Mizzou sells out all their games, which they don't do now.

I do like the idea someone posted above though about what would happen if the Rams moved to LA; I think that could have at least a small positive effect on attendance. Personally, I'd rather keep capacity at 72,000 and keep the Rams here...

Sorry...I'm a bit surprised that anyone from the deep South wouldn't know the origins of Coke and Pepsi (as part of true Southern Heritage). My bad.

Love that third pick. I can tell it was taken directly after the 2014 Bama game.
