If you were starting a team to win a CFP championship and you were able to choose a selection of players from their home states which would you choose?

Criteria: 2004-present. Players judged on college career not how they performed in NFL

Alabama
QB- Jameis Winston (FSU)
RB- T.J. Yeldon (Bama)
WR- Julio Jones (Bama)
OT- Andre Smith (Bama
DT- Nick Fairley (Auburn)
LB- Rolando McClain (Bama)
S- Mark Barron (Bama)

Arkansas
QB- Tyler Wilson (Arkansas)
RB- Darren McFadden (Arkansas)
RB- Michael Dyer (Auburn)
WR- Joe Adams (Arkansas)
OL- Lee Ziemba (Auburn)
DE- Jake Bequette (Arkansas)
DT- Marcus Harrison (Arkansas)

Florida
QB- Tim Tebow (Florida)
RB- Trent Richardson (Bama)
WR- Amari Cooper (Bama)
OT- Laremy Tunsil (Ole Miss)
DE- Joey Bosa (Ohio State)
CB- Vernon Hargreaves III (Florida)
CB- Patrick Peterson (LSU)

Georgia
QB- Cam Newton (Auburn)
RB- Nick Chubb (UGA)
WR- Calvin Johnson (GT)
DT- Robert Nkemdiche (Ole Miss)
LB- Jarvis Jones (UGA)
LB- Justin Houston (UGA)
S- Eric Berry (Tennessee)

Louisiana
QB- Dak Prescott (Miss St)
RB- Eddie Lacy (Bama)
WR- Odell Beckham Jr. (LSU)
OT- Greg Robinson (Auburn)
DT- Glen Dorsey (LSU)
CB- Tyrann Mathieu (LSU)
S- Landon Collins (Bama)

Missouri
QB- Blaine Gabbert (Mizz)
RB- Ezekiel Elliott (Ohio State)
RB- Montee Ball (Wisconsin)
WR- Dorial Green-Beckham (Mizz, Oklahoma)
WR- Jeremy Maclin (Mizz)
DE- Adrian Clayborn (Iowa)
LB- Aldon Smith (Mizz)

Mississippi
QB-Tyler Russell (Miss St)
RB- Stevan Ridley (LSU)
WR- Donte Moncrief (Ole Miss)
OT- Shon Coleman (Auburn)
DT- Peria Jerry (Ole Miss)
LB- Bernarderick McKenny (Miss St)
S- Cody Prewitt (Ole Miss)

South Carolina
QB- Everett Golson (Notre Dame, FSU)
RB- Marcus Lattimore (SCar)
WR- A.J. Green (UGA)
G- A.J. Cann (SCar)
DE- Jadaveon Clowney (SCar)
DE- DaQuan Bowers (Clemson)
S- D.J. Swearinger (Scar)

Tennessee
QB- Bo Wallace (Ole Miss) - Tennessee does a really shitty job of producing D1 QB's
RB- Jalen Hurd (Tennessee)
WR- Golden Tate (Notre Dame)
OT- Michael Oher (Ole Miss)
DT- Derek Barnett (Tennessee)
LB- Dont'a Hightower (Bama)
S- Jalen Ramsey (FSU)

Texas
QB- Andrew Luck (Stanford)
RB- Adrian Peterson (Oklahoma)
WR- Dez Bryant (Oklahoma State)
WR- Michael Crabtree (Texas Tech)
OT- Luke Joeckel (TAMU)
DE- Mario Edwards Jr (FSU)
LB- Von Miller (TAMU)

I'd take the Florida squad slightly over Texas, personally. Imagine an Urban Meyer offense with Tim fricking Tebow running the zone read with college Trent Richardson and throwing jump passes to Amari Cooper . frick, August is the longest month of the year.

I would maybe ego John David Booty (USC 2007) over Dak for a Louisiana team.

its hard not to pick the more populated states though, but i like Louisiana's chances vs anyone

The Texas group.....

I get the best QB in the country in Andrew Luck....

The best RB in the country in Adrian Peterson....

Two of the best WRs in the country in Dez Bryant and Michael Crabtree....

And the best LT in the country in Joeckel....

Not to mention the best pass rusher in the country in Von Miller....

Started the list with 2004 freshmen. Willis was a class of 2003 guy. Would have definitely been on the list though

Ryan Mallet played for Texas High in Texarkana. I know this, because he hung 65 points on my high school in the Texas State High School Football playoffs. At our stadium.

In Louisiana, I would trade Collins for Eric Reid and Lacy for Jeremy Hill
