How do the experts fall for Richt year after year? How many seasons do they need to watch before they realize that his UGA teams are going to choke away a high ranking? I'm not even a Richt-basher--I actually defend him for the most part--but come on.

Bill Connelly S&P+ Ratings...

Bill and Brian Fremeau have produced the ratings for College Football Outsiders over the years and they have their own unique sets of power ratings...

They aren't falling for anything. UGA is usually a safe bet to get 10 or so wins and finish in the top 10-15.

That's a lotta love for an 8-5 team with no guarantees of improved play at QB. Hate to say it, but for the past 4 years, LSU begins the season a top 10--and finishes way below this.

Let's reverse that trend this season Tigers.

The new AD down there is doing a great job. I can't wait to see them in a bowl this year.

I think I'm having an issue - can anyone else concur? When I open this thread, I only see team rankings. Shouldn't I be seeing the coach rankings this guy is referring to?

Disrespect, guess GSU will have to prove the doubters wrong once again

How in the world is that disrespect to have them at 77? They have played in FBS for one year and are already ranked in the top 60% (roughly) in the preseason.

Considering they lost to Navy 52-19 in their second to last game in 2014, I think 77 is about right.

Seriously. Them being ranked in the double digits is pretty respectful.

SEC Teams Publication Ranks
High and Low( I'm bored)

Alabama 1-3
Auburn 4-19
Arkansas 10-28
Florida 25-38
Georgia 3-12
Kentucky 40-85
LSU 4-15
Mississippi 6-28
Mississippi State 21-34
Mizzou 17-27
South Carolina 14-49
Tennessee 14-29
Texas A&M 11-26
Vanderbilt 51-83

How in the world is Auburn 11th on his consensus rankings? The value he places in returning starters is kinda misleading for us I guess?

Auburn returns guys who didn't start LAST season, but started before due to injury or transfer. Carl Lawson, Alex Kozan, Tray Matthews, Austin Golson, and Countess are all "returning starters" but just didn't start last season for Auburn.

I don't care who they lose or how many people they lose, bama should be in the top 5 at the start of every year as long as they have saban.
