Guess I better call Sumlin and tell him to add more gimmick plays and wildcat to the offense?

Speedy Noil wins SPARQ national title

quote:

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound receiver from Karr (New Orleans) recorded a remarkable 45.3-inch vertical jump to score a hefty 153.90 to win the SPARQ Rating National Championship at The Opening Monday at Nike World Headquarters.

The winning score was the second highest in championship history, bettered only by last year's winning score of 154.47 set by Mike Mitchell, a 6-4, 215-pound linebacker from Prestonwood (Texas).

You just keep talking and keep making yourself look bad.

EDIT:

Recruiting profile says he runs a 4.75

Noil may be the more athletic wide receiver than Cooper, and by that I mean he is simply fast. Those SPARQ numbers favors the fastest. It's straight speed drills.

But by ATHLETIC you mean all-around, as in can he pass, can he rush, can he play offense AND defense? Can he actually do those things, and his coaches have given him opportunities to actually DO THOSE THINGS in real games. Not just try to PROJECT what he may be able to do based on how fast he ran a straight line, or how fast he ran around pylons, etc.

In Noil's case, the answer is NO, and most likely will be NO throughout the duration of his college career.

No one gives a fat rat's arse on how athletic a player is, when that player stands on the sideline watching others play, and never shows it off in a real game setting. When it's time to throw the ball or run the ball, Speedy is the FASTEST ATHLETE to run to the fricking sideline. Pharoh meanwhile takes the field and executes....

The 40 is a straight line speed drill.

The shuttle, power ball toss, and vert are not.

Do you just like being wrong?

Why would we want to take Speedy out of his best role to do other things? He can run and throw. He's shown that after the catch and in high school. We have a prolific passing offense with 5 star QBs. That is why Speedy isn't asked to do some gimmick.

Just give it up already.

Homerism off the charts. You're crazy.

Also, DeVante isn't even that fast, he's average for a top flight WR. He could play any skill position and have just as much or more success than Cooper could. Your homerism is insane.

So you're admitting Cooper is the better ATHLETE?

No we already established Speedy is the better athlete and it isn't close. You're talking about versatility. And no A&M has better players at running back & quarter back so there is no need to show Speedy's versatility.

All these people talking about Speedy throwing seem to have forgotten that Cooper is 7/11 for 107 yards with 3 TDs as a passer.

I said he can throw. I didn't say he was a better passer than Cooper. We won't know because A&M won't need to resort to that. We all know both can't touch Kyle Allen.
