I had a friend lose his life in a single vehicle accident when he lost control of his bike and went off the road.

I hate motorcycles as forms of transportation. I don't mind dirt bikes and such being used for recreation, but it's WAY too dangerous to take one of those out on the highway. You have virtually no protection at all.

How exactly am I being self-righteous? My dad drives a bike, but my dad isn't paid a million dollars to do his job. A lot of people are counting on Petrino not to kill himself on a motorcycle. It just seems irresponsible IMO.

it says it "could take a while to recover"... sounds more like cuts and bruises to me.

Wrecked near Crosses? Sounds like an afternoon ride either on the pigtrail or over to Ponca the back way up hwy 7 through Jasper. Beautiful ride but narly as frick if you're not a really experienced rider. Those hairpins come up quick, there's no shoulder at all, & those curves have a knack of going and going when you think its gonna straighten out they keep turning.

IMO, he might have laid the bike down on a curve and got banged up and has some bumps, bruises, cuts, maybe a broken bone or two and he is just in a shitty condition and wants to be left alone. If it were something very serious we would have already heard.
