It appears this has been confirmed. Prayers sent...

This article says no other vehicles were involved, i.e. a single-vehicle accident.

That may be (hopefully) a good sign.

I kept reading the time as 6:45 am for some reason. It seems like something should've come out by now.

Terrible news, prayers sent and hope BP is ok.

Good news that no other vehicles involved. Motorcycle wrecks can still be very bad by themselves, especially if you are on pavement. Let's hope for the best

HIPAA insures that patient and family rights to privacy are protected. I would imagine that the UofA will make a full statement when all facts are confirmed.

Prayers for BP and his family.

I have a ER doctor friend that refers to motorcycles as "donor cycles". They are definitely dangerous - more because of the idiots who don't pay attention then the cycles themselves.

The longer the time withiout an official announcement, the more worrisome this become's for the extent of his injuries. I hope they're minimal.

The longer this goes without a statement from the UofA, the more nervous I get.

Prayers to Bobby and his family!

Thoughts and prayers for Coach Petrino and family. Very odd that nothing has came out about his injuries since the accident.

I hope Coach Pinkel is paying attention since he is an avid rider as well.

Man, this is getting spooky. Wish someone could give an update on the seriousness of his condition.

Reports are saying he went into a state of shock thinking about Saban kicking his arse again, and just froze up and lost control. Hope he's OK.

The fact that it was a single vehicle accident makes me think he's probably going to walk away with only a broken bone or 2 and a few cuts and scrapes, but that might be wishful thinking on my part

Hope he is fine. Been through a bike wreck and they are not fun, took 3 months to be able to walk again and 8 months to be able to run again.

I know. I'm more and more worried about him by the minute. People with non-severe injuries don't tend to be so secretive about their health when millions are waiting for word. This sounds like he is in bad shape and the family wants everyone to leave them alone.
