I actually thought about buying a "hog" within the last year - as my divorce present to myself. However, the more I thought about it, at my age (late 50's) that is not a smart thing to be riding around on as too many things can happen and you don't have any real protection. So .....
I bought myself a nice pontoon boat.

Not my favorite person, but hope he gets better.

I lost a friend in a motorcycle accident a few years back. And last year a guy I went to HS with was in terrible shape from one. Need to find an update on him now that I think about it. I'm glad to see BP is ok. He's definitely lucky.

4 broken ribs, a cracked vertebrae... has to wear a neck brace for at least a week, probably two. There may be more but that's what I picked up.

I know the approximate area he laid it down at, but he had to know those corners change elevation. I'm not buying the wind story.

He did say the sun was in his eyes, since he was heading back west towards Fayetteville. From the sounds of it, he had never ridden out that way before. He said he always turned around at Elkins High. That's a bit before all the really tricky curves and hills start.

off topic here but it blows my mind when I travel to states that don't have helmet laws and I see people riding motorcycles without helmets. Thats just dumb.
