I heard that she used to really pound the hardwood in college. I can see how someone as athletic as that would be on Petrino's staff.

They know that. That is why you see 100% of the Razorback fans here acting like nothing is wrong. Deflect, deflect deflect...........

We have Tyler, and Knile ran a 4.3 on the first day of spring practice. All we need is Petrino back on the sidelines.

Their engagement was called off a couple of months ago, and as for his wife...You mess with the bull you get the horns...That's life in the big city... etc. etc.

No, you're correct...it's not "brand new information"...but, you've got to admit it CONTINUES to be most entertaining for non-hawg fans...I for one, am most pleased and would love to hear more of what the dumpster fire/arky program has become...lulz

I'm only partially serious. I don't wish that on anyone, but she knows he's an arse hat as well as anyone. We see his a-hole antics on tv. She lives them everyday. You can't tell me that you think she was surprised by the revelations.

don't forget, this year you come to Fayetteville, I can almost assure 100% that there will be an abnormally high number of arrest for PI and DWI for those wearing the urine yellow and burple colors....about half of you guys that make the trip might as well inform your employers that you'll be back to work Tuesday or Wednesday drink it up, boys

It is not new information. It is just my commentary on the recent outpouring from your fanbase in support of Petrino. Personally, I would be embarrassed. Hawgnation sends out a clear message that they would gladly cash in their integrity for the chance of another 10 win season. The sad truth, however, is that last year you guys were a VERY distant third in the SEC West and things won't be any different this year except that the gap between you and the schools below you will decrease. It is one thing to sell your sould for a national championship, it is another to sell it for a third place ribbon in the SEC West. That's pretty sad.

Dead right. The Piggies are in a lose-lose situation with the scumbag known as Petrino.

If they chose to retain him they will become the laughing stock of college football and the butt of endless jokes and well deserved mockery from sea to shining sea. It will not, as some hope, blow over with the passage of time because this has merely emphasized with a capital E what most football fans already thought about Petrino. This is who the man is.

On the other hand, if they sack him the majority of Arky fans, who apparently don't give a damn who their married head coach diddles and then lies about--even a subordinate employee--will be enraged and likely will result in a split fan base no matter who his replacement would be.

Petrino will/has fricked up the University of Arkansas's public reputation about as bad as he possibly could have, assuming he's retained. Yet many UA fans seem to not care.

I was reading this today. This is an excerpt from the Democrat/Gazette before the info came out that he had another passenger. He was discussing helmets with his wife, Becky, at their house before he left on the ride.

quote:

“The ironic thing is that we are sitting there in the kitchen, Becky and I, and I have two helmets out. And I say, ‘This one is really going to be heavy and hot, and this one makes me look like a conehead. I think I’ll just go with the hat.’”

LINK

Now, knowing what we know, I think this conversation probably went a lot differently. His wife probably said, "Why do you have two helmets out?" (I like to picture her with one finger up and her head shaking back and forth). He probably started stuttering and said, "Uhhmm.. well, I couldn't decide which one to wear...this one here is hot, and this one makes me look like a conehead...I'll just wear a hat." And then his wife was all like, "uhmmm hummmm...I got my eye on you."

you absolutely gotta love the state of Louisiana in their vain attempts to lecture someone, anyone, or anything about what proper morals and values are all about...Louisiana heads the list of incarceration rates...now this is in the country who incarcerates more of its citizens than any other country in the world..so one can deduce that since Louisiana leads the country that leads the world in convicted felons in jail (well, all except for Jordan Jefferson, a local Baton Rouge hero)that there are one helluvalot of bad guys in the state just to the South of Arkansas....examine your own front porches before you make a brave noise about ours'...

La. puts their bad guys away in prison. Are you saying that is improper morals and values as opposed to say.... rallying behind a coach who breached hi employment contract, embarassed his employer and possibly opened them up to litigation because the general consensus is "we won't get anyone as good to come to Fayetteville if we fire him".
