Is there any NCAA Championship trophy named after someone?
If there is Google doesn't know about it...
The P.O.T.Y. is named after John Wooden for both the men and the women... Seems a given that the womens award should be renamed after Pat Summitt.

I have no problem with this. From all accounts she was a great lady. But when Bear died, he was the clear GOAT, so naming the COY award made absolute sense. We currently have a coach in womens basketball who has 11 national championships and counting
Yes.... but he's not dead yet.

Don't see any reason why it shouldn't be.

Some people probably RA for possible alter because their alter(s) got banned. At least this guy is doing it politely and for an honorable cause
