Percentage of Alabama fans who have no affiliation with the University

I'd say a good 95% from personal experience. Between my time living in New Orleans and Mobile, AL, I've met TONS of Alabama fans. Of course, none of them nor their immediate family members have any affiliation with the University. As a matter of fact, I don't know if 10% of the people I've met in Mobile have even gone to ANY type of college/university.
Another question, why are they so annoying/obnoxious? I can't go anywhere around here without hearing some drunk Gumptard yell ROLL TIDE!
I'd be embarrassed if I were an Alabama alum and would be pissed off about this too :EndOfRant:

On the plus side, we have enough tradition and history as a football program to have crazy gumptard wal mart fans.
Having one ACC championship doesn't quite have the same draw.

well a large percentage of people from Alabama have no affiliation with any school, so they just pick words they recognize.

I am in the 2% as well. Graduated from BAMA with a degree in Accounting, married my girlfriend of 5 years that also graduated from BAMA with a degree in Nursing, then got my CPA. Roll Tide y'all.
