A classy way to handle the comments of a coach who can't beat him.
Posters on this board are some of the dumbest I've seen. Yes, most of us were fine with last season considering we started Justin Worley for half of it and also taking into account the 3-4 years before that. I don't see how that is so hard to understand.

If he would have stopped here, it would have been a fine response to Spurrier (although he probably should have just ignored Spurrier's trolling altogether).

Dude two of those you linked were for this year. 
Same SDS writer you linked that has us winning the East this year predicted us to go 4-8 last year.

I don't really have a dog in this fight. I wish both programs well as long as the Hogs beat them.
That having been said... yeah, Spurrier won this round. Butch sounded petulant and whiny there. No insult intended to the man but Spurrier is cackling away somewhere over getting someone to bite that big shiny hook he dropped in the water.

I am almost to the point where 9 wins including the bowl is the only way this season isn't an underachievement.
We go 7-5 and win the bowl I'll be disappointed.
We go 8-4 and lose a bowl like the Outback I'll probably be disappointed.
