Technically, Herbie is right...Bama was the best team in the SEC last year

Hahaha 1-1, it was a draw. LSU has a ring and Bama has a ring. Those two teams played a third game, I can easily see LSU winning. I could also easily see Bama winning. We will never know who is the best of those two teams.

After the LSU-Bama NC game I kept feeling like the season was incomplete. There should have been a game against some overmatched out of conference "power" after it. And there wasn't. So I can kinda see making that mistake.

Oh, I see Santa still din't bring the gumps any humility for Christmas.

Looks like he has a case of the gump. I wonder how many NCs he credits them with.

I'd bet he credits Bama with 9 NC's right now. How many do you think he credits LSU with?

LOL yeah right. 21-0 and LSU being absolutely molested on offense put that shite to rest. Keep your conference trophy, but everyone outside of the bayou knows that Alabama was the best team in the SEC last year.

Typical ESPN

Those are two pretty damn good reasons for why Gumps have the edge.

Typical LSU fan.

I suppose you think LSU should claim an NC for 2011?

A magical program gets these kinds of subliminal slips many times ...

Forrest Gump ... Rudy ... Magical programs ... mystical even ...

We are all starting to see the subliminal that is associated with both the Catholics and the Cousins ...

It 'aint rational ... it's what is is ...

Whose alter am I then? Truth be told I came over to this board in early November once I got sick of posting on BamaMag and the scout network. Interacting with other SEC fans is way better than sitting in an echo chamber.

Regardless, calling Alabama the best SEC team in 2011 isn't trolling at all. It's a fact. See LSU's #2 rings.

The best SEC team that didn't win their division.

It's real easy. Alabama won the national title, therefore Alabama was the best team out of the SEC at the end of the year. Like I said, keep the conference trophy, history will remember who finished #1 in 2011.

this is not true. Herbstreit can't predict the outcome of the games he's calling.
