Meh. SEC teams in the playoff = better bowl bids for the rest of us. A good showing by the conference when the media is in a circle jerk for anyone non-SEC means continued cred in the post-season year after year.

I agree, rooting for your rivals goes against everything sports stand for. It's so freaking weird. I couldn't imagine rooting for the Chiefs or Broncos.
