What else do you expect Penn State fans to say?We have no chance against Alabama and would be the seventh best team in the SEC.

Excellent question, my man. I would expect them to say exactly what they are saying now. The only difference, in a perfect world, is I could say "what about when LSU beat that arse in the Capital One Bowl? Hahahaha frick YOU hahahaha!!" That's what I wish I could say.

Yea I dunno why PSU fans really would say this; they can't honestly think they are better than LSU and Florida this coming year - they have too much to replace. Anywhere on that list from 3rd to 6th and PSU shouldn't have much of an argument.

PSU will probably be the 4th or 5th best team in the Big X, so a W over bama would obviously go a long way for the conference, but I won't be holding my breath

Bama will beat PSU by at least three TDs.

If Bama played OSU instead of PSU in week 2, would Bama fans put it as their toughest game next year?

That's I think a better question

I think OSU will be in the BCSNCG this year. It's all set up nicely for them as they have a lot of talent coming back.

Basically what I'm asking is is would you call the top of the conferences THIS year pretty equal? You ask me and I think the top 4 Big X teams are a LITTLE better but the depth in the middle isn't there.

IMO

Bama and OSU are at the top and I would like to think OSU would not lose by 2 TD's (I pray)
Iowa with all their starters back is better than Florida going INTO the season
Wisky and LSU both have a lot coming back but I think Wisky would win
PSU and Auburn/Arky/UGA are a push

Agree/Disagree?

Not trying to be homerish, but...

Bama beats OSU by 7 or less. (Fingers crossed that Bama makes it there again.)
Florida beats Iowa without much trouble.
LSU easily beats Wisconsin.
PSU loses 2 of 3 against Arky/UGA/AU.

Arkansas actually matched up really well with us this year. I'm worried about their passing attack against our young secondary and their actually played really well against us. We made a few big plays and took advantage of some good field position but had trouble sustaining drives all game. I think Arkansas is the second toughest game on our schedule after LSU.
holy crap, a decent rational post by a Bama fan. People tend to see the final score only (dont blame them). They fail to see Ingram only got like 50 yards on like 17 carries and the game was within 7 in the second half before big (and I mean Big) plays started crappening.

I can't agree that Wisky loses to LSU at all.

As much as people want to bash PSU, the beat LSU on a neutral field. I don't care if it was wet blah blah blah, I watched the game and if LSU players had made the catches in the clutch, they would have won. They didn't, so they lost, straight up.

OSU/Bama I think could be a classic if both our teams can get there.

Iowa has one of the better D-lines in the country this year coming back with maybe the best DE in the country.

I get so mad after the SEC/Big X teams play in the bowl season every year; from now on at least there will be 3 games so one conference can always have bragging rights

I dont think LSU fans are arguing they lost, as that would be just stupid.

You cant just throw the field conditions out the window. A dry game could/would have had a different feel for it, and LSU could have won it. Like you said, you play the conditions given, but that still doesnt mean PSU would have won on a dry field, or LSU either. Just that the outcome could have been different.

Why? All that really matters is NC. I could care less if the 6th best in one conference beats the 6th best from another.

The Big 10 has like 2 National Champions from 2 teams in the last 20 years, and the SEC has like 8 from 4 teams.

Doesn't really matter. Until OSU or another Big 10 Team (but who besides OSU has a shot haha) beats an SEC team in the BCS champ game, you'll get no respect and no fear.

I agree with the first 3 but I think PSU would take 2/3 imo.
