Penn State and Tennessee would have been an interesting matchup

I remember when the Alabama cared enough about fans to do stuff like this

I mean, I'm all about you shitting on Alabama in a thread about Auburn, but haven't yall played pretty much every team of note within the last decade?

Is this just because they're all neutral site games?

The date of the 2021 game forced Auburn to reschedule a previously announced non-conference series against Cal. Those two games were originally scheduled for Sept. 19, 2020 in Auburn and Sept. 18, 2021, in Berkeley, Calif. Those games will now take place Sept. 9, 2023 and Sept. 7, 2024, respectively.

Cal will host the 2023 matchup and Auburn will return the favor in 2024.

2016 - Clemson
2017 - @ Clemson
2018 - OPEN
2019 - Oregon (DALLAS)
2020 - OPEN
2021 - @ PSU,
2022 - PSU
2023 - @ Cal
2024 - CAL

I wonder if Clemson fans are as sick of that match up as we are.

I wouldn't mind a multiple game series with an opponent. Maybe not Clemson though. Alabama and Penn State met every year from 1981-1990.

The ones who chime in here seem offended by our distaste for it

But then, they have to play teams like Louisville, Boston College, NC State, Syracuse, Pitt and Wake Forest, so they probably look at us like we look at LSU or A&M or some other yearly game of interest.

2017 - Clemson
2018 - Probably Clemson
2019 - Oregon, more than likely Clemson
2020 - Clemson doubleheader
2021 - PSU, Clemson I'm sure
2022 - PSU, more Clemson
2023 - @ Cal, Clemson
2024 - Cal, ''

Good for AU. Jacobs stepped outside the "Clemson" box for a change.

Wish LSU would get away from neutral site games. Last great OOC home game was Virginia Tech.
