W is the only stat that matters tonight for Penix

And Washington still has the toughest part of their schedule still to come

If JD can ball out and bring home a W from Tuscaloosa, he’s got a real chance at winning this thing

JD should be the front runner if he has a good game against Bama and Lsu wins. I haven't seen him rattled for an entire game like Penix was tonight

Agree. He can have one bad game, as long as he showed up when it counted and did enough to get the win. Which he did.

More than one hame like this though and the heisman voters are going to start looking elsewhere

I don't know who has paid attention to CFB this year but every single team has looked like shite at some point. Except for maybe Michigan who is playing teams with 8000 seat stadiums

Unless he wears a striped shirt he didn’t do enough to get the win for Washington

Washington (regardless of record) beating ASU (again regardless of record) is a big achievement.

ASU has outright owned Washington for over 20 years. This is their 3rd win in the last 16 games. Was it lucky or flukey? Yes. But they got a W that was a massive landmine and beat a team that ruined their season last year.

The news push is going to be that they came through and exorcised demons, or something of that nature.
