Most passing yards(Nix is second)
Blew out Bo Nix three times (another legit Heisman candidate)
Had the most difficult SOS of all Heisman candidates
Let his team to an undefeated season
Secured a spot for his team in the college playoffs
Didn't pad his stats with 8 touchdowns vs Georgia State
A true representation of the class and sportsmanship that should be a prerequisite for the Heisman

Penix has delivered when it matters all year long. Nobody thought WA would be where they are, and he deserves a lot of the credit
Kid is good and wins games.

What about his NEGATIVE rushing yards compared to the 1100 for Daniels. We just gonna ignore that you moron?

I don't know if he deserves it. But he definitely has an argument

Not even close

The quagmire for LSU: They either have to claim the SEC was weak and thats why Bama won the SEC and it hurts Daniels stats; OR they have to claim the SEC was really good and that makes Bama look good.

you are such a fig.
take those out and Daniels still beats him with 2 fewer games played

You're adorable......
Daniels currently has the #1 highest QB rating in NCAA HISTORY.
40 TD passes on 327 throws for a 12.2 TD%. Also an NCAA record.
The only 1000 yard rusher among QBs.
8.4 yards per carry which leads ALL players in the country regardless of position with 100+ rushes.
#1 in adjusted pass yards per attempt, passer rating, rush yards per carry and total yards per game among every Heisman winning QB since 1971. That's FIFTY TWO YEARS!
Daniels would lead THE LAST 11 HEISMAN QBs in:
-Passer Rating (208.0)
-Yards Per Attempt (11.7)
-Adjusted Yards Per Attempt (13.6)
-Yards Per Carry (8.4)
-Total Yards Per Play (10.7)
-Yards Per Game (412.2)
Daniels had 90 plays of 20+ yards. The next closest player had 61.
Daniels has more 20+ yard plays than any TEAM in the country all by himself. ??
Daniels also lead the country in 30+ and 40+ yard plays.
Daniels had less than 350 total yards in only two games: Grambling and Army. He did not play in the 2nd half of either.
How dominant is Daniels? His 412.2 yards of total offense per game is a higher average than 85 teams, and his 50 touchdowns accounted for are more than 83 teams scored all season.
All this against the #3 toughest schedule in the country: LINK
Team records shouldn't matter. The Heisman is an individual award given to the most outstanding player.
"Daniels tops the statistical charts across the country. From total yards and passing rating, to deep throws and explosive runs. Number for number, stat for stat. Daniels out performed and out produced every player in college football."
"But Daniels didn't just have the best season of any QB in 2023. HE'S ELITE AMONG THE HISTORY OF HEISMAN WINNERS, with higher passing efficiency and more total yards per game than any player to ever win the trophy."
He's also the only player in NCAA history with 12,000 passing yards and 3,000 rushing yards in a career, and with 350 passing yards and 200 rushing yards in a game.
Just stop. It's not even close. It's not even a debate.
Focus on your team possibly adding another championship to an incredible run.

Penix beat Oregon’s D. Had nothing to do with Nix.
Will be a good Pro QB though once they fix his footwork and form.

Or we can claim your POS player and coach knew they COULDN’T stop Daniels so they took measures into their own hands. Bama was going to lose

How many prerequisites do you need... like being undefeated is one, right? At least according to bama fans. Let's be honest, JD5 is breaking down any barriers... because winning the Heisman on a 3 loss team has been done ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION.
