Seems like every time Auburn loses this year they blame the refs, and they’ve been losing a lot lately.

All the emotion aside, Quinerly was the key to the game. Pearl is a very good coach and schemed Alabama correctly by taking Miller out of the game.

He complained because every game we lose close, we win every stat line except the fricking fouls and free throws. If you win rebounding, shooting % from 3, turnovers etc and all you lose is from what the refs call, it’s a fair argument. Stats don’t lie.

Dude, the plan was glaringly obvious - play extra physical and put the game in the hands of the officials. It almost worked. Did you think they could actually get away with NHL type mugging? Good grief.

I haven't seen his press conference yet, but he definitely should have mentioned it. Any impartial observer who watches the foul calls on Brandon Miller would come to the conclusion that the refs are hacks. They alone are responsible for him fouling out, which obviously affected the result of the game.
ETA: Just watched it. He was asked about Brandon's three foul calls toward the end of the game and basically said "I haven't watched the tape. Some of them looked like they could have gone either way, but we have to be more consistent and not leave the game up to foul calls in the last few minutes."
Not even close to Bruce Pearl's whining, and not at all blaming the refs. I'm not sure why anyone would bring this up about something we can all easily view on video for ourselves and instantly see didn't happen.
