So basically if you dont play in the sec, you arent eligible for the heisman.

Wonderful gump logic there.

Leaving him off a ballot is ridiculous. Plus he's a great kid, there's no excuse for that. That said, I kinda think Trent deserves it, but RG3 should be on EVERYBODYs ballot.

Why do you think TR3 deserves it? Montee Ball has better stats than TR3 ... By quite a bit ...

You realize he does this stuff so people like you will run to a message board or twitter and post his information. People will go to his twitter, facebook or radio station website. He gets publicity and boosts the traffic on his site. Congratulations for doing exactly what he wanted.

I know I know. And if Ball wins tonight I'll be 100% ok with that. My opinion doesn't count for shite, but I think if Trent played for Wisconsin he'd have yards in the 2000s with as many or more TDs.

@finebaum Finebaum Network Much heat leaving RG3 off my Heisman ballot. Nice player- but SEC defenses would have eaten him alive. Haters get a clue.

Finescum needs to get a clue

RGIII was the best player this season, hands down

That's one game chill out. I doubt you'd take Ball over Trent. Hell I doubt you'd take him over Hilliard.

I Like to use the If they weren't there argument.

If Trent wasn't there does Lacy fill in and keep up production?
If Ball wasn't there, does James White keep it up?
If Luck wasn't who the frick gets it?
RG3's backup would lead them to 9-3? (No he wouldn't I don't care how he did against Texas Tech, it's Texas frickin Tech, they got lucky that they played out of their minds against OU, but would get Raped by Vanderbilt)
And yes 9-3 is huge for Baylor, that defense couldn't stop a nose bleed.

oh and StiffArm Trophy has gotten it right 10 years in a row. SIAP.
RG3 wins

I don't think RG3 would be a heisman candidate if he played in the SEC, but I don't think it's fair to leave him off your ballot either. Pawl is being a douche

you don't think RG3 would be a Heisman candidate if he was Alabama's or LSU's QB?

Ya I don't get this at all.
Depends what offense he's on. People were trying to compare him to Masoli. Well of course Masoli sucked, Ole Miss was HORRIBLE.

RG3 would still put up numbers depending on what offense he was given.

shite if he was in our offense he'd put up more Running Numbers than he did this year, and would have actually got Alshon the Ball.

If RG3 was our QB we'd be 11-1, maybe even 12-0.

Meh, the SEC defenses is a legit argument. But they also don't have the SEC teammates surrounding them either.

For sure no, at Alabama at least. I put that more on the WRs though. Plus Alabama runs more.

Baylor, would not have the same Record that it has today with Florida's Schedule.

But if RG3 is on Florida's team, they would be better than 6-6.

Exactly. Plus think about all the extra snaps he would get with an LSU or Alabama defense behind him.
